Dr. Fawaz Al-Malood is a highly accomplished educator with over 20 years of experience in higher education and former hotelier. He received academic and professional training in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, and Education Management from prestigious institutions in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, the United States, and South Africa. Dr. Al-Malood held various leadership positions with in higher education including serving as a tenured professor, program director, department chair, associate dean, CFO, and graduate school trustee. Prior to that he held leadership positions with companies like The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Starwood, and other corporate organizations. He is currently a college administrator, author, YouTuber, blogger, and podcaster. He is the Founder of FacultyWorkshop.com, a blog dedicated to sharing successful strategies for teaching, productivity, and professional development for college educators. Dr. Al-Malood holds a doctorate in Education Management from the University of South Africa, an MBA and an MS in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University, a bachelor in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration from the University of South Carolina, and a Diploma in Hotel Management from the prestigious Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland.
